With COVID impacting in-person attendance over the past year, live streaming of worship services has become more important than ever. Join host Robert Scovill as he welcomes Matt Wheeler (Epic Resource Group), Wes Ashworth (staff FOH Mixer/Production Manager for The Village Church), and Mason Williams (Director of Media at First Baptist Church of Arlington) to explore different streaming strategies and tactics to keep their congregations connected using Avid VENUE | S6L technologies.

Robert Scovill Robert Scovill is an award-winning engineer with with over 35 years of experience mixing concert sound. (Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Matchbox Twenty, Rush, Def Leppard, Jackson Browne).
Mason Williams is an audio/video, graphics and production generalist with over 20 years in the industry. Graduating in 2000 with a degree in Audio Engineering, he went straight into the broadcast industry where he learned most of his video and graphics knowledge. From there he's worked as a live Production Manager, an Editing Supervisor, to a Senior Animator and Motion Graphics Artist. He is currently working on his 5th year as the Media Director at First Baptist Arlington.
Since falling in love with the production world as a student volunteering in his local church, Wes has progressed though several roles and now serves as a staff FOH Mixer/Production Manager for the Village Church. Wes has worked free lance during this time with local artists to record and mix, and also consult local churches with their production systems. At The Village, Wes is able to bridge the live and studio world with their worship team to help bring to life the music that is coming out of the church.
Matthew Lawrence
Matt Wheeler is an Audio Engineer and musician with over 35 years in the music industry. He has served on staff of multiple studios and live-production companies. Matt’s primary focus has been in the Christian music industry and church ministry. Matt spent the early part of his career working with regional and national Christian artists, worship leaders and touring ministries, both in-studio and live. In 1997 Matt became the Sr. Audio Engineer for Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas, a church that helped reshape how live production and sound is done in churches. After 14 years at Fellowship, Matt joined Epic Resource Group, where for the last 10 years, he has served as Sr. Audio Designer. There he has had the privilege to be a part of a team that brings world class audio and acoustics design to churches as well as corporate America. Matt also currently serves on the Dallas College Commercial Music Advisory Committee to help bring up the next generation of great audio professionals.
